raped but still feels guilty

When i was 17 years old I was sexually assaulted by a neighbor I thought He was a family freind He told me that If i told anyone , that no one would beleive me Well eventually I got the courage to tell someone and now he is in jail..... however why do I still feel some guilt. I mean HE was the one who messed up.
