Racism! Why?

Ok, so i'm multi-racial. Im not even going to say what, cause I know racist assholes will reply to this post. At times, I dislike blacks, whites, mexicans, all races, but that's different from racism. I view racism as someone who "hates" a certain race of people and could care less if they all disappeared. It disgusts me to see people display their bigotry on a daily basis, for what reason? Some of you may have had an incident with a certain race that you cannot forget or forgive, therefore you place the same hatred on every member of that race. We all know the extreme racism that this country adapted, it's somewhat regressed but it's just been concealed not destroyed, many of these racist people still exist and commit racist crimes. Here's the thing though, you may have had racist parent or a racist family in general, you may hear things about these people and believe them to be true, but most likely there not! Racism as a whole is idiotic, if you value your brain and opinion you know being racist makes your opinion irrelevant. No one will ever look at a racist person and find them intelligent, unless they're racist themselves. It's a waste of your existence and your just depriving yourself of great cultural experiences by hated people you hardly know anything about. White's seem to be the greatest culprits of racism, not all ofcoarse, but everytime I see someone say something racist, or commit a crime fueled by racism...they're white. Racism is driven by ignorant views and anger, if your a racist then your admitting to being ignorant and angry about nothing, if you do not wish to socialize with a group of people so be it, thats your choice, but why start displaying bigotry? The Nazi's were racist idiots who managed to kill 6 million jews because of ignorance and prejudice, the way I see it racist americans are no different, this country still has a long way to go as that was made clear in last years recent election. Some of you will choose to remain a racist piece of shit, while im hoping others may begin to see why their opinions on others is irrelevant once your determined racist, your not reaching your full potential as a person when you have anger in your heart. Quit the bullshit and live your life sharing, caring, and socializing with all! Were all human and can be harmed by anyone, of any race, don't show prejudice towards anyone cause you never know, that same race you hate, may one day have a member who saves your ass from death, or saves your children, or mother & father.

I work with a lot of different people of many ethnic groups. Some are good and some suck. The problem is that the ones that get the most attention are the ones on the news every night committing crimes. Every night there is at least one black person on the news for shooting someone. It's usually another black person. If you live in a mostly white neighborhood and get fed a steady stream of stories like that, of course it's going to affect how you think of that group. The same is true of Muslims. All you ever seem to hear about is how they are "Terrorists". The truth is that the stereotypes are only a small percentage of that group but until we are around them more, you'd never know it.

I'm an African- American and I've met white people who have shown racism towards me. I agree that most mean to state that they hate black thugs, or the ignorant once who call eachother niggas and do dumb shit that gives us all a bad name. I myself experience little racism, i live in New York and have been a victim of prejudice but not racism, I think there are more prejudice people now rather than racists. Alot of white people think I listen to rap, or talk a certain way and that I do poorly in school, actually i'm a Stanford grad and have a masters in Computer Science. Not all black people are the way you view them, i'll admit that alot of younger blacks choose to adapt the hip hop culture which comes with gang violence, drugs, and many other things alot of white people hate, therefore they end up disliking blacks cause they think ALL black people like hip hop. I myself seldomly have anything to do with it, but who cares, if you don't like it so what. I can't excuse the behavior of some of my people but that doesnt warrant racism, some of your kind are skin heads who murder innocent black kids, that doesn't warrant racism towards white people either. I also believe the fact that blacks & whites are nearly total opposites also generates hate, some blacks decide to use a certain grammar when they speak english, some wear their clothes a certain way, i think most of the tension comes from the utter difference in culture between the two sides.

My father is probably the greatest racist I know, he swears he hates black people up and down, all of them! I myself chose to be more open minded and not so ignorant about life. Just because you do not understand or approve what a group of people do, does not mean you should be a racist. My father is imprisoned for murdering 2 black kids, even when I talk to him today he still expresses his hatred for these people, I ask him why and he says, there place here is meaningless, that they shouldn't be in this country. IMO, what gives us whites the priviledge to exist in this country but not blacks? We all bring our own values to this country, thats what makes America, America. Plus this country is becoming more diverse with each generation, soon we will be the minority in this country so it's makes no sense to be hostile towards people you are forced to co-exist with. I get your post, but racism will ALWAYS exist, as long as there are racist people they will pass-on their bigotry to their children, it can only be concealed but never destroyed. I hate my mom's BF who is black, but not cause he's black, I hate him as a person, I do not show prejudice towards every black person I meet, that's just ignorant. We could all nearly agree that, most whites that hate black people, mean to say they hate "niggas", the one's who are hostile and call eachother the N word, or show no manners or intelligence, the ones who are most likely thugs too. I can agree that most people dislike these kinds, even some blacks, but do not hate all blacks for the actions of some, it wouldn't be fair for other races to hate all whites for the actions of some would it? Be an intelligent individual and understand that racism has no place in America anymore, your likely to be an outcast only befriended by people who share your views, which is decreasing in numbers greatly.
