I've been trying to get an I.E.P. Eval since August for my child. I finally get a meeting only to find out that there will only be paperwork passed around the room...I am then told that since its only a formality that, the special ed teacher will not be there, nor the psychologist, nor the speach pathologist. I then made a suggesting for them to just send the paperwork home via my son and I would have it back in the following day since no one would be there anyways..Whats good for the goose is not always good for the gander cause I was then told They did not know what to think about a parent that would not come to and IEP Eval??? Did I miss something other than paperwork?
