Proposing Death Penalty for Soldiers

I confess that I am a tid bit pissed off. Has anyone else read this in the news today...Four soldiers in Iraq have been accused of the murder of three Iraqis. The army proposes the death penalty for these soldiers. Does the army and the fucking government know how many people they have murdered? Do they not know that every killing is a murder? The soldiers that face death say that they were told that the target they were sent to was an Al-Qaida training camp, and they say that they were ordered to kill all military-aged men. They said that the three Iraqi men attacked them with knives and that they shot the men in self-defense. What bullshit is this that the army is proposing that we kill the soldiers. Hell, the pharmacuetical companies have killed more people than these soldiers probably have, the government has ruined more lives than can be counted and caused many deaths. But we're gonna blame everything on these four guys and kill them for it. The men's names are Staff Sgt. Raymond L. Girouard, Spc. William B. Hunsaker, Pfc. Corey R. Clagett, and Spc. Juston R. Graber, all of Ft. Campbell, Ky.

This is military law not just army law and yes my husband is a soldier in the army and yes I (we) do think they deserve the death penalty for this. We as Americans have cilvil rules that we abide by during war. Rather or not the enemy is as human as us doesn't matter. Soldiers should be kept at a higher level of accountability! They take oaths to serve and protect! Weapons are for protection, and if you knew anyone that's been in combat you'd understand that if investigated ,they either used excessive force, or their story didn't match up. Also when you join your fully aware your on military law now, not civilian!
