Don't you find it really annoying when you call for a private hire taxi and they first of all state that it won't be long. So you get ready in a hurry and wait for it outside. 10-15 minutes later they have not arrived, you call them back and they tell you they are still trying to get you one. Then you continue to wait and evetually you call them again and they tell you that the driver has been and gone!! To add insult to injury they then tell you that they are very busy now and it could be up to 30 minutes for another taxi. Eventually if they do turn up you invariably get a surly driver who does not want to go where you are needing to go. The worst thing is there are no regulations and no-one at the taxi firm cares whether or not you complain they make a fortune out of us yet do not provide a good service. It makes me sick!
