Presario Compaq laptop with Celeron processor

It's garbage!! Don't ever purchase one or you will end up with a major headache!! It's given me problems from day one and I've only bought it five months ago. The processor is as slow as pouring cold molasses!! It shuts down for no apparent reason and then it takes ages to warm up again! The microphone has failed four times now and each time I need to take it to the computer souq here in Saudi and try to have it sorted. It's a nightmare going to these places because there is nothing but MEN! Big ones!! Ugly ones!! Scary ones!! And even though I'm covered from head to toe with the black abaya, shayla and nekab (face veil that leaves only my eyes exposed) they still STARE! It's creepy!! So my friends, this is the reason why I've been in and out of touch.. Without internet access from this neck of the woods (or should I say desert) it's difficult to regularly keep in touch. I'll do my best though and send emails, etc when I can. Other than that, I'm settling into my new job, continuing my studies, joined a new gym and making a few more new friends.
