I'am a cablevision consumer, unfortunately:( . I'am so repulsed by the way I've been treated. I asked for a $ 39.00 package. Now I'm paying $ 90.00 for the same package. Over a year I've attempted to modify my package to lower my bill, in vain. Several months ago, I asked for just the antenna package, would you believe I was told they no longer carry that package, therefore I felt stuck with a large payment plan I no longer wanted. We work during the day. We watch tv during the night or on our days off if it's not a re-run. I feel like a hostage because without cable we have no reception. What burns me the most is that we made a payment $ 74.00 and within 3 days they cut our service off and stated we never made a payment and attached 1000.00 fee for the equiment, late charges and a 1 month penality before they would restore my service. While attempting to understand what the heck was going on I called Cablevision ,again. My question was why are you charging me for the equipment before discussing it with me? Why can't you find my payment? A little later I found that Cablevision had refunded it back to my banking account within 2 days of receiving, also cut off my services on the same day. Why? No one knows (duh!). The buttom line is as a paying cutomer I've been victimized by Cablevision who beleive they can say and do anything to the public which causes personal and financial conflict. Listen at this, I was told prior to my last payment that I was due a refund from the deposit on my account. When I repeated it to the presentative during my last telephone conversation she stated there is no such acknowledgement of it on your accout. Pardon me for expecting the truth. Psst! by the way there is a package like an antenna, whereas, I was told no:0. I say they didn't want to give it to me. They just wanted my money. Stuck'em up you've got calevision. :
