i am being abused by my 17 year old son. he hasnt hit me hard yet, just pushing and shoving. he calls me terrible names and says heart wrenching stuff to me. i am not a healthy person, stress and chaos make my conditions worse. he tells me he hates me, calls me a fucking bitch. he tells people i am a drug dealer and that i beat him. i do niether. i told him to leave my home tonight and he is now at the home of a woman that he knows i dont approve of and has treated me badly before. he told me he is not my son anymore and he wishes i would hurry up and die. i have been a single mom since he was five, i have often times worked two jjobs at a time to raise him and his brother and sister. i just last year became so sick i am no longer able to work. ever since then he has bullied and terrorized me. he steals from me, lies to me, makes fun of me and he has destroyed so many things in my house i will never be able to afford to fix them. i have taken everything away from him, grounded him, whipped his ass, not whipped his ass, everything i can think of ive done. i cant live this way anymore. i am going to break down and lose my mind. he also abuses his sister and cousin, physically and verbally. what the hell can i do?? i cant go on like this!

i looked it up. in my state, until they are 18, no matter what theyare doing, they parents are fully responsible for thier care. if a parent kicks a child out and they are even a day shy of 18, the parents legally MUST report them as a runaway or the courts and child welfare will charge the parents with neglect of care.

finally a post that decent.I used to be like tgat abusive and saying.I hope you die I regret all of.that now.my mum is.unable to.work.due to.illnesses she raised me.as.a single mother I know.what yiur going through.its not easy but you havr to.give.him a reality check.dont know how good.your medical is.but you could send him to a.treatment facility like willow springs.in reno Nevada he cant sign himself out there

i did today, the sherriffs office told me if i didnt report him as a runaway within 24 hours i could be chatged wwith neglect...it seems never ending

u can always call the center for child abuse and have them transfer your call to adult protection program and they'll be able to help you
