planning my divorce?

My husband's family are such incredible losers that I'm on the brink of an ultimatum: them or me. I used to hate people who did such things, but now I understand. It's so much more than some petty silliness like they don't like the same movies I do; his folks and siblings are unbearable. There's alcoholism, illegitimate children, lying, stealing, total hypocrisy, manipulation, laziness, and wilful ignorance... they're downright poisonous people. He complains about them all the time but I don't want to be "that person" who "tore a family apart." I have a horrible feeling that what I'm planning will turn out to be divorce. Maybe it would be for the best...
