I switched to Earthlink(an ISP)in February of 2005. At the time I signed up I was told my bill was going to be $10.95/mo. I chose to have them take it out of my checking account every month. I thought that would be a very easy option for everyone. I shortly learned my lesson. A few months after signing up I recieved a statement from my bank. Normally I just toss them aside and move on with my day. But this day was different. I actually looked at my statement. 'What the f*#@k is Earthlink doing?' I believe were my exact words. Those assholes had been taking out $47.95/mo. Beyond pissed, I decided to look at the rest of my bank statements before I called to 'kirkout' on them. After reviewing the statements I was WAY BEYOND PISSED. They had been taking this out of my account for 4 months. I tried to calm myself down before calling them(knowing how ugly my attitude can get). I quickly called them up and eventually got through to a CSR. I told the young lady my problem and she responded with 'I'm sorry Ms. Ruffner but the only thing we can do is credit the money to your earthlink account.' Um, If anyone is listening did I ever say anything about paying my bill for months in advance? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! To make a long story short. Earthlink SUCKS!
