Pet death

I should have known that my sisters would have let that bird die. They wanted to hand raise the accident baby two of the birds we had when we were little had. Hand feeding is messy and gross and terrible. I should have known that they would have 'forgotten'. I could hear it scratching, trying to do something. I feel terrible, even though I wasn't that much older than they were. I should have known better. It's been twenty years since that cockatiel starved to death and I should have done something about it.
