people are inconsiderate

I am appalled at how inconsiderate most humans are of others. What has happened to us? People rarely open doors for each other, let others in front of them in traffic or lines, give up their seats on the bus, etc. Just the other day, I was coming out of the grocery store with a full cart. I was headed towards my car and I saw a man park his empty cart directly in front of the driver's side of my car. Not only was he too lazy to take the cart back inside, but he couldn't even go as far as to be considerate of who might be inconvenienced by his laziness. It was not such a big deal to have to move the cart from my way, but what a jerk! People throw trash on the streets, cigarette butts out the window and get angry at the bank teller or cashier for having problems with the computer or making a mistake that causes them to wait. Wake up! Pull your heads out of your butts, make eye contact with the person you pass on the street! Hell, give them a smile! You never know when you might need a break from someone, right?
