pasta cooker?

Purchsed the pasta cooker sold on TV infomercials and found it to be useless. Doesn't do what it claims. Can't believe they are still selling them! Got a refund on my purchase but don't waste tyour time. No way pouring hot water into a plastic cylinder with a 'special lid' is going to cook anything.
