Over Priced

My Mother told Me that for the retailer to mark up price 20% Is fair but I can find like an Item for $400.00 on the Internet from another state and find another retailer that sells the same Item for $450.00 and another retailer that sells the same Item for $550.00 and another retailer that sells the same Item for $700.00 and all the local retailers would sell It for $700.00 needless to say that Is way over a 20% mark up so Am I going to buy from them that have the highest price because I liked the way they word their ad or something????
