I have a wonderful wife and family. I have been happily married for 8 years and we have three wonderful children. Our life is good. The other night got really drunk and paid one of those online video sites to have video sex with a stranger for money. I know this is a form of adultery and would hurt my wife tremendously. She has always said that she would forgive me for everything. However, I feel the need to tell her. Although I know we would never divorce this would cause harm to her. I feel extreme guilt and shame towards her and my kids. I have asked for forgiveness from the Lord and have received it. I have thrown all the alcohol in the house away and swear not to look at porn anymore. However, my shame will not go away. I do not want to cause her pain just to releive my concious. She deserves so much more. What do you think? Did I commit adultry. I think so. Even thought there was not any physical contact. I know at lease I betrayed her.
