just so you, i'm the front office supervisor at a small hotel in texas. those online hotel reservation companies are rip-offs on both ends. First, you pay more for the room than you would if you called and made the reservation, and secondly, the hotel gets paid less due to commisions. Also, if you make an online reservation like that, you are almost guraneteed to get the crappiest room if needed be. Next time, call the hotel and let them know of the price you found. 9 times out of 10, they'll give it to you, or will have a cheaper 'lowest available price. Damn tha man!
