On the Height of Arrogance
Posted Mar 2, 2011 by anonymous | 95 views | 0 comments
When u consider the sheer size and density of the universe; billions upon billions of planets, stars, solar systems and galaxies. It seems almost arrogant to believe actions taken by us, a single creature on one of those planets, could be of any offense or interest to a being with enough power to create that universe. Furthermore, it is the height of arrogance to then prescibe onto this being the likeness of yourself and define he, who is infinitely powerful and transcends both space and time, in the terms of a creature who cannot comprehend either of those concepts. It follows from this that a diety defined in the words of man is a diety defiled by man. Think about it.
