
On hold for 75 minutes

I have a DVR box from Time Warner (previously Adelphia), last night I turned onto to Channel 7 to watch Desperate Housewives and there was no audio. I rebooted the DVR box, unplugged the TV from the wall, all the obvious things I tried. Nothing worked so called the 24 hour 800 number for Time Warner. I was on hold for 75 minutes, I called TW at 8:30pm on a Sunday night and got thru to a live person at 9:45pm. Does TW honestly believe that anyone has got that kind of time to wait on the phone to get some action to a problem that their equipment is causing. I know that if I were calling to add a new service or anything that would create revenue for TW I would not have to hold. At last there is a venue for comsumers to fight back because doing business in America is becoming almost impossible to do and it's time that BIG BUSINESS
