Ocwen 'Bank'

Ocwen used to be called Ocwen Federal Bank BEFORE they got in trouble. This 'mortgage servicer' violated the Consumer Protection Act, found guilty in a court of law. If they were not able to hide behind lawyers and corporate paperwork, they would be prosecuted and jailed as the criminals they are. Willing to spend ANY KIND OF MONEY to defraud the 'lower class' as their lawyer implied we are, probably to avoid being prosecuted, the attitude is that you can have your taxes remain unpaid by them (though you pay it in your mortgage payment on time and regularly), you can pay penalties because of 'processing times' that are two weeks long, etc. You can do NOTHING to make this company accountable. They are a predatory lender. I should know. I have been fighting them for nine years, the last six years in court. The courts seem to continue to skate around the very direct questions my lawyer asks, seeming to offer numerous extensions, appeals, etc to Ocwen without conscience or regard for the letter of the law, or even the spirit of the law! Nothing like lawyers sticking together!
