I'm unhappy with the way nurses are treated in the workplace. We are used as receptionists and unit clerks and are given impossible assignments. It seems that administration has forgotten that the Nurse Practice Act supercedes any company policy. We don't have the supplies we need - supplies cost money and fewer supplies used saves the company money. I can't believe how much nursing has changed for the worse over the years - no wonder we leave when we get close to fifty!
