Non-communicative Employer

I worked briefly for Target Labs, Inc. as a sub-contractor. In a nutshell, one communication regarding the quality of my work stated that they liked it and wanted more of it, and the next communication regarding the quality of my work stated that it was not good enough and my contract had been terminated. This is not to libel Target Labs, Inc. I know nothing of the satisfaction of their clients. I was merely a sub-contractor with them. However, I feel obligated to publish this complaint so that employees considering working for them will be able to make a more informed decision. If you are a conscientious employee who likes to take time to carefully consider various approaches to a task, this company is not for you. They seem to value speed over quality. More importantly, they did not communicate their needs to me, electing instead to end my contract rather than build a relationship based on communication and mutual understanding. I was aware that they had gone through a few, or perhaps several other developers for the project I was hired for, and in light of my own situation, this should be a red flag. They were quick to hire, but equally quick to fire. Had they been better at communicating their needs and concerns, I would still be with them, as I take my customer service seriously.
