Non-believing church goer

I go to a Christian church and I have been for as long as I remember and for a bit of my childhood (about until I was 10) I was pretty indifferent and really didn't pay that much attention in church. But then I actually started listening and my views on God got pretty far away from the church's. People are pretty much measured by their sin in the bible and in the Christian religion, and they say if you ask for forgiveness then you shall receive. But, what if are your sins are really little or they go outside the norm, should you ask for forgiveness for something that really wasn't wrong to begin with. Like one of the ten commandments is "Thy shall not covet thy neighbor's wife" or something like that. But what if "thy neighbor" is an abusive d*** and the other dude is in love with the abusive guys wife. Why would you apologize for that!!??!?!?! You fell in love and the abusive guy deserves to have his wife leave him. It just doesn't seem right to have to apologize for something like that. And there is the pleasure rule, like no anal and masturbation is wrong and premarital sex is wrong and all that jazz. First of all I really don't care about the anal thing. But the masturbation thing is just weird in my mind. People use masturbation as a way to relieve themselves of stress. But in the Christian religion it's considered self centered and not God centered, but then sex was made to be for pleasure (between a married man and woman), and what's that 'cus I sure as hell (figure of speech) can guarantee that a man and a woman aren't thinking about god while there doing the dirty. It just doesn't work like that. Then the premarital sex thing. I understand it and I respect people who choose to live like that, but what if you get married to somebody and the sex just sucks super badly and no matter how hard you try you can't fix, I seriously think that is gonna lead somebody to cheat and there you go - another sin and another commandment thrown out of the window. I believe that a lot of these rules don't make sense and make people strive for something they will never achieve. Also I believe in gay marriage equality, in my mind love is love and I don't think one persons love should be celebrated while the other's is spat on. It's kinda like the color issue. Whites believed blacks were inferior and blacks just wanted their rights like the whites. Some people believe gays are an abomination on this earth and gays just want to be able to love freely like other people.

I don't know where you attended church, but try reading the Bible all on your own.
