No Dental Care for the Disabled

When I became permanantly disabled, I was not only expected to live on $580 a month, but I was also deemed not worthy of having ANY dental care. Oh, excuse me, I DID have the option of having ALL my teeth pulled and having a full set of dentures made. If I had been a murder on death row, my lawyer could have sued for inhumane treatment! Several years ago when the TV news was showing Jebb Bush signalling a Nixon type victory sign for cutting 'excess' taxes and returning $2.50 per person back to the voters, I was literally watching while holding both jaws with THREE absessed teeth. This in spite of the AMA declaring that dental health determines whether or not you have a heart attack and even how long you live! I did everything 'right' in life. I got my degree, taught school, didn't have children that I couldn't support, etc., etc. And what did it get me? I live a terrified life one-half inch from finding myself on the street. My life experience for the last eleven years has made me feel differently about my country.
