new friends

I'm 18 and I just started going college it's been like a month now i have made 5-6 good friends but i don't like them. It feels like I'm stuck with them. They're annoying and keep making fun of each other. They also rely.on me to.pay the cafeteria money all time . There's only one guy who's pretty good but hw doesn't come to college much , he's only friend in the class is me but he has many seniors as his friends. Should i become a loner and be friends with only him coz i can't make.more friends. I wish my school friends were in.my college :'(
