Never really been in love

I don't think I ever can be. I've tried, but even in relationships, I know I'm the one who doesn't care as much. Am I the only person who feels like they can't fall in love?

I don't let my guard down enough to fall in love. I was in love once and was extremely hurt in the end so now I just don't let it happen.
