Never do business with Washington Mutual

Our mortgage was owned by Washington Mutual. That is a bigger buracracy than the federal government. We entered into a program to help us delay payments for a few months until my husband's business picked up. Another department started foreclosure procedures AND published it in the local newspaper and we did not even know this was going on! When we got ready to pay off the mortgage, they delayed getting the payoff numbers to the title company which delayed the closing of the sale of our home by several days!! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, do business with them!!!!!
