her guilt at leaving her family is destroying us. when i married my second wife six years ago, she left her two children of 19 and 17 with her former husband while her youngest came to live with us. i know she felt guilty about leaving them. then her father died of cancer. she started to drink and when drunk would tell me that i was ugly an that she didn't love me. afterwards she would say she didn't mean it. the youngest child is now at college. he's a good boy, though lazy but if i try to admonish him my wife flies into a frenzy. now she has gone to look after her mother and visits me for ten days a month. i miss her but am angry that i am the only breadwinner. she says she can't work as there would be no time to see me. am i being unreasonable?
