I am a sales associate in an all womens clothing store. Our company has opened an on line survey for customers to take. Why do people have to find nothing but negative things to say about stores, and customer service. How about turning the tables for once? How many times myself or associates I work with have Greeted a customer, and have been ignored as if we were invisible? We say thank you and get a grunt back or some will look you in the eye and say nothing at all. Others you try assisting just whine when you don't have an item available and stand there waiting( beating the issue like a dead horse ) as if you will magically produce a non existing item (even after we've called another store). And yes,why is it everyone wants to shop on their lunch break @ 11:30am and expect to be served first...we only have 2 cashiers ,2 registers TOTAL as we have only been open since 10:00, and modern day corporate only gives us so many payroll hours and so much manpower to operate the store until 9:00pm. 5 associates total throughout the day.,but never all available at the same time ; we have 30 minutes lunchbreaks, freight to receive, banking for the store, and so much paperwork and merchandising and cleaning and racks of put backs. This store as small as it may seem makes 1.5 million a year, thats how busy we are. So, sorry if you feel so stressed while shopping here, that YOU need to complain (and some complaints are SSSSSSSOoo exaggerated)check your attitude at the door, come in SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSMILE,say hello right back and make my job and DAY a little nicer.
