I'm still ostracised in my home town. I wrongly thought that a baby might improve my unhappy marriage. I had severe postnatal depression, behaved badly, went out with other men and my marriage broke up. Later I married a wonderful man and we have a lovely family. I returned to college and now have a job I am happy with. But I am still treated like a leper in the town where I live. Even if I meet someone new they join the ranks of those who take pleasure in avoiding me. Why am I so despised? Can't people let go of the past and let me live my life?
