My parnter is horrid to my son

When my youngest son of twenty-six had glandular fever he had to move out of his apartment. My partner of nine years has always been difficult and jealous but he agreed that he could come and stay with us. It is my house. My son has recovered and returned to work but my partner is so horrid to him. I am stuck in the middle and I don't feel the same about my partner any more. I asked him to leave but he says he can't afford to. He also says my son is a mummy's boy and will never leave but at the moment he can't afford to rent an apartment either.
