my mother

I'm complaining about my mother. I love her but it's a difficult relationship. She is 80 and divorced. I am 41. She has a serious heart condition and walks with difficulty but she refuses help from anyone other than me, her only child. My husband of 14 years is great with her and can persuade her to do things I can't. A year ago I moved to Tampa Bay hoping to get a better job but without success. I returned to the house I share with my husband at weekends. I now wonder if moving away was an attempt to break from him even though I adore him. I've avoided sex for a while. Sometimes I just feel like running away from everyone. Should I move my mother to sheltered accommodation, install a chair lift at her place or move nearer to her? My husband and father advise against the latter.
