I am honestly in love With my best guy friend. He is the most amazing man I've ever known. He encourages me, makes me laugh, he's the one I call in the middle of the night if I need to talk/shoulder to cry on. We've been friends for 16 years. He is handsome, giving, he's the whole package. One major problem.... He's gay He's told me many many times he loves me more than he loves any other person in the world, but he just can never be with me romantically due to the fact that he is so sexually attracted to other men and always will be. We've kissed before. We're both 26 but as sophomores in college we took a canoeing trip and started messing around after we both had a lot to drink We removed most of our clothing in the process, and it was becoming heavy, but he started to withdrawal and panic I begged him to make love to me but he just cried and said I'm sorry J. I can't. I don't want to hurt you. Made me so sad. We've been through so much and now I'm a single mom. Just wish things could change: I love him so much
