After ten years, my husband finally admitted that he had had an affair with my then best friend. He had instigated it at our wedding. They first slept together when we returned from honeymoon and it lasted six months. I love my husband and have struggled to put it behind me. Recently another so-called best friend told my husband that when I was single I had been the 'village whore'. This was untrue, but instead of asking me he believed her. She did it to get him into bed and I caught them out. We had a big row and he threw all these allegations at me. I can't forgive her but how can I get my husband to trust me again? He had the affairs, so why can't I be trusted?
