My dogs killed the neighbors cat

To be honest, it is actually the neighbors fault because they let the cat roam the neighborhood. When I've seen this in the past, I've called to let them know that he escaped, but their response was "yeah, he likes to roam around". My dogs were in a fenced in yard and the cat squeezed in through the fence. The cat didn't escape probably because he lives with a dog and somehow wasn't afraid. My dogs snapped his neck and I found him lifeless in some bushes in our yard. I thought it was a homeless cat, till the neighbors started asking around if anyone had seen their cat. I didn't say anything, because I felt that they would be angry knowing and that they might claim our dogs are aggressive and try to have them taken away or something. But I feel guilty knowing what happened to their cat and they don't, always wondering if he's alive or not. Do I tell them?

Plaid old vinegar work wenrods on the odor of cat pee. Tips for preventing urinary tract infection, food for wet and dry foods, or if you are able to feed all the wet food is even better. Cats do not drink much water, so they get moisture from the food. Cats that are on all dry or almost dry are prone to urinary tract infections. If you already do and already knew that, I apologize for giving that advice. Hope things work with the new cat.

house mice and indoor spiders don't survive outside esp. in non-summer

Original poster here: I am so conflicted. I'm angry that they didn't properly take care of their cat. Yet at the same time I'm a huge lover of all living creatures, to the point where I pick up spiders with a piece of paper and take them outside. I don't buy mousetraps that kill, rather I buy the kind that traps them in a box and set them free in the field (only to have them find their way back, I'm sure). I know they loved their cat and I keep putting myself in their position, not knowing what happened, always wondering and worrying if he's ok. That part is really eating me up inside, despite knowing they would wrongly blame my dogs. More comments please, I need closure.

no. with their attitude they will blame you, try to get the dog destroyed, you charged, sue you or start a hate campaign. think of all the birds/other wildlife that cat killed when he was out. think they give a shit?

You must tell the owner of the cat. Keeping them in dark would be bad.
