my birth mother

I don't know if any of you remember me but I made a complaint a few months ago about my birth mother. I mentioned that my birth mother hired a private investigator to find me but I was hesitant to meet with her because I didn't want to upset my adoptive parents, whom I think the world of. I finally had the strength and courage to talk to my adoptive parents about my concerns. They were totally supportive and encouraged me to meet my birth mother. Last weekend I set up the meeting with my birth mother and it was surreal! I looked into her eyes and seen me. We have exactly the same eyes, nose and lips. She's tall and slender like me and it was amazing to meet her. At first it was strange but within thirty minutes of being with her we cried, laughed and held each other tight. She even has the same jesters as me. The way she throws back her head when she laughs is just like me. It's unbelievable! We are going to become very good friends and meet regularly. Next weekend she is coming over to my adoptive parents for dinner. I'm so happy that I made the right decision. I want to thank those of you who gave me great advice. I couldn't find my old complaint but I remember a few names. Turbos sweetpea, Gen and Vic. I'm sorry I can't remember the other names but again, thank you for all your help. I feel so complete now that I know where I come from. My birth mother spoke of my birth father and we are currently trying to find him. This has opened an entire world for me. Thanks again...
