I'm a 13 year old boy. William, My best friend since Kindergarten was over today and we were roughhousing on my Bedroom floor like we have done a hundred of times before. He pinned me down and was straddling me and was holding my arms over my head when when all of sudden he leaned down and gave me a really soft kiss on the lips. Honestly I was too stunned to do or say anything. When i didn't protest he kissed me again. The second time I said "What are you doing?" He got up and bolted out of the house and I haven't seen or heard from him since. I have never considered myself anything other than straight. I never had any reason to think William was anything, but straight. But here is what I'm confused about. First of all, if he is gay, I really don't care. But i worry if he will feel awkward around me now. Secondly, The kiss was kind of nice. I can't say I loved it, but it was just nice. How should I handle this. William is like a brother to me. I sure don't wanna lose him over something stupid like his sexual orientation. Do i tell him i sort of like the kiss. .

I had a similar experience when i was 12 yo with my best friend. He stunned with a kiss on the lips. We ended up having these amazing make out sessions every day after school. We always told ourselves we were straight, but just "experimenting". We finally admitted our true feeling for each other and have been in a relationship for almost 9 years.

If you kinda liked it persure it more, kiss passionately with him and see where it goes. Making love may happen but let me tell you with another guy it's really good. I am bi now but was straight before.

Be gentle with him and tell the truth. Tell him that you don't want to ruin your friendship because of the awkward kiss. Also peacefully talk to him about his sexual orientation to further understand where he's coming from.
