My family and I are practicing (and pretty strict) Muslims. I met my boyfriend last year and we've been together for 6 months. There are moments where I feel like I fall deeper in love with him. I love him more than I thought I was capable of loving anything/anyone. We both know what we want, we make a good team, and we respect and support each other. I know he's the one and have never been so sure about anything in my life. Seems too perfect right? Well it is. I have to choose between him and my parents. He was raised Presbyterian and doesn't identify with "organized religion." Neither of our families would recognize our marriage unless one of us converted to the other's religion. We're stuck and I don't know what to do.

You should tell both families to put aside their petty differences and stop being idiots, if they love you, they will set their opinions and pride aside and accept the two of you for loving each other.
