BRITISH GAS. I purchased £30 credit on a gas card which the meter refuses to accept or recognise. I understand that problems can and do occur but then to rub salt into the wound it has been impossible to get through to British Gas. I have called at least 20 times over the last 5 days and the waiting time has been at least 25 mins every time. Finally I got through and made it clear that it was regarding the GAS account yet they nanage to put me through to the electricity department. They transfered me between departments 4 times on 1 call alone. Worse still when transfering me the call went back into the waiting list faced with a further 20 min wait. Finally I spoke to someone that sounded like he cared but has still not solved THERE problem. I am still waiting a call back to resolve the issue. It is totally pathetic. In fact It would not be anfair to say that the have the worst customer service that I have even come across. No wonder they are loosing thousans of customers. Mike
