I'm sure you all recall my earlier post about the Human Rights Event/Punk Show raid. Well, there is new news on that. The World Can't Wait organization is looking all over for someone who was there and filming and still has that film, so that they can prove what they are saying in a bid to get the five arrested people back out of jail. There was also a man who is now in the hospital for broken ribs and a punctured lung which he recieved after being beaten senselessly by the police for trying to play peacemaker between the cops and a small group of people in the crowd that the police were harrassing with mace, tasers, and guns. I was not there, but I will be taking a camcorder to the protest at Trade and Tryon in Charlotte, NC.
