Michigan Profanity Law

Here we go again! Studpidity in government! Here in Michigan, (at the turn of the last century) the wise judicial system enacted a law that no one may use profane, abusive or vulgar language in front of women or children. A few years back this law was upheld in a lower court when a canoeist overturned his canoe in a river and let loose a stream of profanity in front of a woman and her children. He was arrested and sentenced under this law. Then on appeal his conviction was overturned by a higher court. The higher court said that this law had violated his freedom of speech and no one could determine exactly what vulgar, obscene or abusive language was. Oh my God! Have we become that stupid??? Is there scarcely a human among us that does not know what obscene language is? (all you have to do is listen to the children today)(another problem liberals have caused us). This higher court had an opportunity to send a message to all the decent people of this state. That, your decent way of living has priority over 'indecent' people and their expressions. But what did they do? They took the 'easy' way out! (again). If indecent language could not have been defined.....then 'define' it! Write a pamphlet....include all the known indecent, vulgar and abusive language and it's uses. We want this state and America to 'improve'!!!! Not to wither and die with these kinds of stupid decisions. Just take a look at America and what is happening to it... You citizens are seeing the fall of western civilation....one peice at a time......your government is killing it for us. They lost all common decency themselves, and all common sense.
