Melia Tropical Royale in Punta Cana Domican Republic is by far the worst resort in the world. Me and my family were looking forward to a trip for Spring Break and when we got to the Dominican Republic the staff was horrendous. My family became violently ill from the food. I had to leave the island early and leave my family there for 2 more days. This is truly the worst resort and should never be visited unless you want to lose 10 pounds and be sick the whole time. Beautiful grounds but dont be deceived. The food is not edible and there was a foul stench that would make me want to gag everytime I smelled the food. The rooms were short of luxurious, more like a camp bunk. Melia tropicale is by far the worst vacation we have ever taken.
