me or the mistress? make up your mind.

Last year I discovered that my husband was having an affair with a woman at work who was a guest at our wedding five years ago. After our marriage we moved out of Miami, where my husband works, so he comes home only on the weekends. We have a twelve year old daughter. The mistress says that the affiar is over but she still sits next to him at work, and he occasionally takes her out to dinner as he wants to stay friends. He's said that he wants to make our marriage work but he doesn't want us to live together full time as he got used to living on his own during the week. Now he wants a temporary separation to sort out how he feels about me but he hasn't said for how long. This leaves me in limbo. I don't understand why he needs more time and space. I want to confess that I'm considering hiring a hit man to injure her badly. I'm sick of being treated this way.

He needs more time and space to persue the other woman. If it works out, you'll likely be history. If it doesn't, perhaps he'll come back. Find a good attorney and be quiet about it. Your idea may very well land you in prison, which is a lose-lose deal for your daughter. THINK.
