Hello Everyone: Buyer beware MAYTAG is terrible - Refrigerator broke down Sunday evening, it is now Tuesday. Maytag does not offer service whether you buy the extended warranty or not. Refrigerator is less than 1 year old. When calling for tech repair I asked for a call half hour in advance customer service said no problem. Repairman called me 15 minutes to his arrival; called his cell back to say I am on my way; message went into voicemail indicating phone is full cannot leave a message. I jumped in my car made it in 20 minutes to find a business card to reschedule. Called 800 4 Maytag, transferred 3 times (total of 17 minutes) requested to speak to manager, was then disconnected. Where the heck is that guy (on the commercial) that lays due to boredom is looking for something to do.....He is probably working for another company. I hear the person in charge of customer service is Don Eastering (423-472-3333)- Which me luck in getting in touch. I hope to follow up with a letter to Maytag 240 Edwards, Cleveland, TN 37311.
