Lowes Known Discrimination

Yeh, I'm back. I forgot to mention something else the last time. The fact that there is known discrimination practiced by both managers and workers in Lowes in Southern Florida. If you were black or any number of spanish nationalities, you could create your own overtime at will with nothing said to you. If you were white, you were told about it right away. But the most blatant discrimination was something that happened to me. Now let me tell you first about a Lowes policy. You are not allowed to carry a cell phone on you at anytime at work or in any of their vehicles. You couldn't even use it while at work in your vehicle in their parking lot. We were about 70 miles away from the store one day and my wife had an emergency where she needed medication right away. All the vehicles are outfitted with push to talk Nextel phones that they and we were supposed to use at all times including emergencies. Most of the time you couldn't get any one to answer you when on the road. But if they called you, you better answer or have a damned good reason why you didn't. Anyway, we were never notified that my wife had called and had an emergencie. It's a good thing we carried our cell phones anyway as we did need them to call customers while on the road most of the time to clarify directions. My wife called me on my cell phone after the store hung up on her. We were able to get the medication to her by contacting a neighbor as I couldn't get there in time. When we arrived back at the store not one person told me my wife had called with an emergencie. This was two hours later. You got it, a black person took the call and a spanish person was the manager on duty. If that had been a black or spanish person that called, we would have been notified immediately. Now don't get me wrong, I am not a racist. I am a native american myself. I do not discriminate. I just wanted to show how they do in Lowes and get away with it. And when you bring it to their attention, they do nothing about it.
