When our first baby died at six months, after a catelogue of heart wrentching complications, we spent four years putting all our energy into conceiving again, without success. IVF failed, due to my hormonal imbalance and advancing age. I am 40. My husband began drinking heavily, became verbally abusive and eventually walked out. A few months later we decided we still wanted our marriage. However, I feel that he still resents me for not conceiving. I want to get back the man that I married so I'm considering going out and having an affair just to get pregnant. I hope to God that he never finds out!
