I have an African mask enclosed in glass. The size indicates it is not a mask that would traditionally be worn on the face. I have narrowed it down to either a shoulder or helmet mask, or what would be considered a maskette. It looks to be similar to those produced by the Guro people. The face is well defined, curved horns like those of a ram adorn the head with red and ivory colored stripes. I am very interested in the spiritual association linked with this mask.

The only spiritual association it has is with the god of money, because they sit around making that stuff for tourists. Real ceremonial items aren't sold. African art is the WORST. It doesn't sell and I just hate it.
