LG phones

For anyone looking at buying a phone, if you are unlucky enough to live in a humid climate and can not afford or work where there is no air conditioning, DO NOT BUY AN LG PHONE. The LCD display stopped working on my phone which has never been in water, not even a drink spilled on it (yet). It is only nine months old so I took it back to Alltel since it should have been covered under warranty. I was told that the phone displayed signs of water damage based on areas on the battery and phone that change color when they are wet. So I called the LG Customer Service Department. I was told that humidity is considered a liquid (I am 41 years old and never knew that I could breath liquid), it can damage the phone, and it is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Of course, I read the manual, and it does not say anywhere that humidity can damage their phones. Our breath is humid, does that mean we can not breath on them either? So basically, it looks like their manufacturer's warranty is worthless because they will find any loophole to get out of being liable.
