LensCrafters Doesn't Care

On Friday, November 3rd, 2006 I was at the Westfield Mall location with my daughter who is a patient of Dr. Allen. She had something in her eye and I wanted the doctor to take a quick look at it. As soon as I explained this to two seperate representatives I was told we had to have an appointment. Appointments are not an option when you have something in your eye and you are 12 and in discomfort. I was told we would have to wait until all the other customers were taken care of and then the doctor would see my daughter. This was unacceptable. I could not get the representative to have any compassion for my daughter's situtation at all. Ultimately, I left and took her to the emergency room. I thought by taking her to Dr. Allen whom we just purchased contact lenses and glasses from totalling over $500 would be the right to do. I sure was wrong. I will not be going back to Lens Crafters. This was unacceptable treatment. The sign on the wall that reads 'Walk ins are welcome' should be removed.
