UPS, the 40th largest company in the country, bought the company Emery World wide in the spring of 05. They promised no layoffs and expansion, new jobs would be added. A week later someone found out what was really going on. They went to the local news paper and told all. UPS was going to close the hub and throw 1,400 people out of work.All the jobs would move to Louisville , KY.We would have no chance at moving to Luoisville and getting a job there. The Dayton Ohio area has lost 5,000 jobs for the last 5 years.UPs didn't help matters at all.Finding work in this area is a nightmare, esp if you're over 40.I'm going to have no choise but to pack up and move to find other work.Thanks for NOTHING UPS.
