Arriving at KLM lounge in Amsterdam / Schipol after a 12 hour flight from Singapore, one old battle-axe behinfd teh counter chatting to two other equally old battle-axes refused eye contact, didn't stop conversation, processed boarding card and slid back across counter to me, uninterrupted.
